As you massage your skin in the sauna, your skin heats up and it becomes easier to more gently scrub away dead skin cells. Scrubbing the skin also increases blood circulation which helps the body clear out slag products and gives the skin a beautiful glow.
Material: Maple wood and boar bristle
Size: 37 cm x 8.5 cm (brush head)
Care advice: Remember that wood is a living material which is affected by contact with water. To extend the life of the brush, it is therefore important to let it dry properly if it has been used in the shower/bath. Dry it hanging or standing so that the water is transported away from the wood, which is more sensitive to moisture.
Advantages of dry brushing:
Makes the skin softer
Removes dead skin cells
Increases blood circulation
Helps the body to get rid of waste products
How to dry brush?
Brush the entire body with gentle circular motions for a few minutes before each shower. Start from the bottom and work upwards in circular motions- towards the heart. Massage a little extra on problem areas such as thighs and buttocks where cellulites are more common!
