Baskets in hand-woven Vetiver from Madagascar. We buy these wonderful, fragrant baskets directly from the cultivators (fair trade in other words).
Available in three different sizes - from mini to large.
Mini: Inside size approx. 5 cm, outer size approx. 18 cm diameter. Height approx. 6-7 cm.
Often used for flower arrangements and as an interior detail. Also nice to hang up as a Christmas and Easter decoration.
Small: Inside size approx. 12 cm, outer size approx. 25 cm diameter. Height approx. 8-9 cm.
Beautiful as a fragrant decoration (preferably with our stone eggs in it), can also be hung or placed in a group with the mini size. Thrives well even in damp areas.
Large: Inside size approx. 24 cm, outer size approx. 38 cm diameter. Height approx. 15 cm.

From the root threads of this grass (Lat: Chrysopogon zizanioides), an amber-colored oil is extracted that smells fantastic and is said to be found in 90% of all Western perfumes today. Even in the roots that are woven into baskets, this incredibly lovely scent lingers for a long time and slowly evaporates. You can spray it with a little water to bring the scent back if it starts to fade. Once it is sprayed, you can also reshape it somewhat if you wish.
