Another nice Fair Trade collaboration where we support responsible production in Nepal (Fair Trade Group Nepal)!
Such nice hand-printed Lokta paper in various motifs. They let light through very nicely and are thus also suitable for lampshades, window coverings, collages, for decorating your invitation cards, or anything else you want to use them for.
This is not just any paper, but made from the bark of the bush called Daphne papyracea (lat.) that grows wild in the Himalayas. This paper (called Lokta) has been used for thousands of years to write down laws and religious scriptures in Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal.
Sheet size: approx. 50x70 cm
